November Publix Pet Coupons

The November Publix pet coupon book has been out since, well, the beginning of the month. But I JUST got the email for the printable versions. You can print these coupons, or look for the coupon books in the pet aisle at Publix. These coupons are valid 11/10-12/7. Coupon verbiage states "one coupon per item" so you can use multiple.

Couponing 101: A Lesson for Pet Parents about Petsmart PLUS Petsmart Deals

Pet parents - when you hear the name Petsmart, does your wallet head for the hills screaming? No more!


There are a lot of things about Petsmart that many people don't know.


Petsmart Perks:

1. Petsmart price matches
2. Petsmart has a loyalty card program - PetPerks. Get it, it's free. Register your card on their website, it's free too and they email you promotions, coupons and offer printable coupons.
3. Petsmart accepts manufacturer coupons
4. Petsmart accepts all competitor coupons.
5. Petsmart puts out a lot of printable and in-store store coupons
6. Petsmart allows stacking of all of the above named coupons

As far as price matching, you can take them the ad or you can take a photo of the shelf tag at another store and show it to them at the register.

Note: I have heard that the coupon policy states you can't have more coupons than items. My Petsmart store is really good about coupons, so I would probably do the deal as outlined above. If you happen to get a bad cashier and the coupon policy ultimately gets pulled, they may hold you to this rule so be ready to throw a cheap filler into your order (I like to keep an eye out for the clearance cat toys)

Putting My Money Where My Mouth Is - I saved 84% on Pet Supplies

Lately I have been posting a lot of pet deals and savings. Now it's time to show you that I know what I'm talking about. This week the shopping that I am MOST proud of is my pet supplies stockup. First, I'll tell you how I did, then I'll tell you how I did it.

I spent $37.50 and saved $189.66 - a savings of 84%!

For those of you who share my pain of paying full price for cat litter, bless your little hearts. Cat litter has got to be one of the HARDEST sale items to come by. But today, I bring some reprieve.

Save on Pet Meds!

For those of us who are pet owners, warmer weather means a season of four-letter words: flea and tick. Does the thought of paying for expensive topical flea and tick prevention make you and your wallet cringe in fear? I bring reprieve!

First, let's discuss Frontline, one of the best (and most expensive) preventatives out there. Frontline Plus has had the advantage over the competitors for years due to their exclusive patent of the active ingredient, Fipronil. Well, that patent has expired. What does that mean? Generics will start to hit the markets very soon! Are generics safe? Absolutely. They contain the exact same active ingredient, at a fraction of the price. One generic I have come across, and am currently using, is called PetArmor Plus. Pet Armor Plus retails at Walmart for $28.00/3 month supply for ANY size dog. If you're a Sam's Club member, you can save a couple extra bucks and pick up a three month supply for $25. Compare this to a 3-month supply of Frontline Plus, which starts at $42.99 at Petco, and you're saving almost HALF the cost!
