$4 Kroger Credit!

I LOVE this deal! In addition to the awesome 'Buy 4, Save $4' deal going on at Kroger with P&G products (buy 4 P&G products, get $1 off each item, PLUS any coupons you have), you can now get a $4 credit loaded onto your plus card!

Register/log in to Kroger's eCoupon page, load one eCoupon to your card for a P&G product (I suggest $2/1 Tide). You'll get a pop-up to share with four friends. Enter the emails of your four best buds and your Kroger Plus Card will instantly receive a $4 credit!

This is NOT something to pass up, you can use this on meat, produce, items you love but never have a coupon for.

Note: I've experienced and received feedback that you must proceed a certain way to get the prompt to share with friends and get your credit:

Go to Kroger.com, click the banner that looks like the photo at the top of the blog post (may not have the 'Tell 4, save $4 more' on it.) Then load a P&G coupon and you'll get the share with friends prompt!

Kroger Ad + Unadvertised Deals 10/23-29

Woohoo, we get a 10 for $10 at Kroger this week! Remember that makes each item $1, and you don't
have to buy 10 items to get the deal, it's like shopping at the Dollar Tree, minus the creepy patrons who look like they want to hurt me! Also included are the unadvertised deals in store. These may vary from store to store, so print your list and double check the prices before you buy.  We also get a 3-Day sale from Thursday-Saturday, so you've got a couple of days to get your list and coupons together before hitting the stores.

These deals are for the Southeast, so cross reference your local ad for discrepencies before heading to the store. Red denotes a stock up price! Deals after the jump...

Half Price Milk!

So the Southeast region has a special treat for us through Wednesday, 8/17 - half gallons of milk are BOGO (excludes buttermilk and chocolate)! Remember that each rings up at 50% off, so each is $1.04 before tax. Another way to save even more on this deal - price match at Walmart! I do believe with BOGO price matching at Walmart, you do have to purchase two. Last I checked, half gallons were roughly $1.48, so that would make each one $.74!

Sadly this deal isn't available to yall up north, trust me I checked.

Kroger Ad, Coupons + Unadvertised Deals 7/17-7/23 -PLUS How to Work a Mega Event

Kroger Logo

Kroger Mega Event

  • Buy 10, mix or match, get $5 off instantly. Prices listed are after instant savings. You can buy multiple deals in the same transaction.
The trick to mega event success is to be prepared. More than likely, something you wanted to purchase will be sold out. The gameplan is to find filler items that are included in the mega event (good choice for this sale: Kroger Tomatoes for 59 cents OR Lever 2000 bar soap, 2ct - with printable coupon it's FREE), and/or to make a list of mega event items that will put you at more than 10 items so that you have backups.

Case in point: I went to Kroger today with the intent to purchase 20 mega event items, or to do the deal twice.

My list:
- 4 Wisk detergents
- 6 Whiskas Lickins cat treats
- 4 Classico pasta sauces
- 4 Stayfree pads
- 2 Colgate toothpastes

Lo and behold, the Wisk and Whiska Lickins were out. Luckily, I planned ahead and those two items made up one whole mega event deal. So I got rainchecks and purchased my other mega event deal.  I also got 1.5lbs of shrimp for $6 and a nice piece of salmon for $2.79, so check out the managers specials!

Keep reading for the long, long list. Post questions, comments or other deals you find.

FREE Country Time Lemonade at Kroger

Country Time Lemonade Drink Mix

This week, Kroger is having another Mega Event, where you buy 10 participating items and instantly receive $3 off at checkout, which equals $.30 per item. Country Time lemonade mix is a participating item and with the instant $.30 discount, it costs $.99. Kroger currently has an eCoupon for $1 off, which makes it a $.01 moneymaker! Or, if you just buy the mix and don't participate in the mega event, you pay $.29.

For those of you who have not used eCoupons, go to the above link. You will have to create an account and enter your Kroger Plus card number. You then can review the available eCoupons on the Kroger website and load the ones you want to your card. Then, the next time you go shopping, when you scan your card, all of the coupons that match items you're purchasing automatically come off of the bill!

***NOTE*** You CANNOT stack an eCoupon with a paper coupon. (You CAN stack a SavingStar eCoupon with a paper coupon. SavingStar eCoupons do NOT come off of your grocery bill, but the amount of the coupon is put aside in your SavingStar account, and you can cash out when your account reaches $5.)

Kroger Ad, Weekly Matchups + Unadvertised Deals 5/29-6/4

Kroger Logo

Here are the week's matchups for Kroger. Remember, these are done based on the Southeast sale circular, so verify sale price in your local ad before heading to the store.

Don't forget to load your card with eCoupons first! SavingStar eCoupons work similarly to UPromise, the coupon value does not come off the total at the register, but is deposited in your SavingStar account, which can be withdrawn as cash once you hit a certain threshold. SavingStar eCoupons CAN be stacked with paper coupons.

Kroger eCoupons come off at the register, but they do not double and can only be used on one item, not multiple like items.

Kroger Fuelperks Update

Starting tomorrow, the Kroger Fuelperks program is being completely revamped. You can now stack Fuelperks to save up to $1 per gallon! The concept is the same as before:

  • for every $1 spent in the store (before coupons), you get 1 Fuelperks point. 100 Fuelperks points = $.10 off per gallon of gas!
  • 100 Fuelperks points per $50 spend on gift cards (excludes Kroger and Green Dot cards)
  • 50 points per every filled prescription (excluded if you're using government funded insurance)

Well now with stacking, you can still use 100 points to get $.10 off per gallon, 200 points to get $.20 cents off per gallon and so on and so forth, and if you earn 1000 points in Fuelperks, you get $1 off per gallon!

And since the Fuelperks are calculated based on your Kroger BEFORE coupons, you get the best of both worlds - all the Fuelperks of paying full price WITHOUT spending it all at the store!

A way to reap the maximum benefit from this deal is to stock up on Shell gift cards and earn points ($100 gas card will save you $.20 cents per gallon) and fill up at a neighborhood Shell station, which accepts Kroger Fuelperks!

And if you have the 1-2-3 Rewards Mastercard, your 5 cent per gallon discount stacks onto your fuelperks discount!

Kroger Ad + Matchups 5/22-5/28

Here is the Kroger ad that starts tomorrow. It is based off of the Southeastern circular, so check your local ad for differences. I'll update as I find more coupon matches. The Frozen Foods Mega Event continues through this week, giving you an opportunity to pick up anything you missed last week.

Kroger Sale & Unadvertised Deals Through 5/21

These are this week's awesome deals from Kroger. The Kroger sale differs by region. This list was compiled using the Southeast circular so doublecheck your local ad before heading to the store. These deals run through this Saturday, 5/21, with the exception of the 4 day sale which ends tomorrow, 5/18. These ads include Savingstar eCoupon matchups, which are different than eCoupons in that they CAN be stacked with paper coupons. Sign up and load your card here.

Make sure you have a Kroger Plus Card (available at Customer Service) or you WON'T get these deals.

The format for deal posts will be as follows:
Item, Sale Price-Coupon to use: date coupon came out, insert it was found in, coupon value

Kroger Coupon Policy

Kroger's coupon policy has been pretty hard to track down, but I will provide the basics. You can access Kroger's print-at-home coupon policy here.

The Kroger Policy is pretty basic, it is as follows:

Buy One Get One (BOGO)
  • Each item rings up as half price and coupons can be applied to each item. You do not have to buy two items to get the deal.
Competitor's Coupons
  • Kroger does not accept them.
Coupon Doubling
  • Kroger doubles coupons up to $0.50 in the southeast.
  • In Ohio, Kroger doubles coupons up to $0.50, and any coupons from $0.51 to $1 are doubled up to $1.
Make sure you have a Kroger Plus Card, you do not get the advertised price and coupons won't double without it. Also register your card online in order to receive valuable mailed coupons from Kroger and to load eCoupons to your card. eCoupons are available on the Kroger.com website among other sites and are able to be loaded onto your card and used automatically when your card is scanned at checkout. These eCoupons do not double and cannot be combined with a paper coupon.

There are other websites that offer eCoupons that you can load to your shopper's card that do not necessarily follow the above guidelines. More about that later.
