Best Walgreens Deals 8/5-8/11 - Lots of Freebies, Y'all!

I know I'm a tad late this week, but the Olympics are distracting me. I bring you the good deals from Wags for the week, not exactly lifechanging, but a couple fun ones nonetheless (is that spelled right?) There are tons of freebie RR reward deals, and these are great to roll into multiple transactions in order to keep your OOP to a minumum. Then at the end you can use them on something you may really need, like toilet paper.  I've also included all the Back to School deals.

This week, Walgreens has a RR deal on Pet Armor, which makes for a pretty sweet deal on flea and tick control, especially if you learn how to dose it out by weight. For those of you not familiar with Pet Armor, it's the generic Frontline - last year the patent on Frontline expired, which allowed other companies to make identical generics.

I'm super pumped about this deal! As you couponing butterflies have learned, Walgreens has 12 packs of Cottonelle for $5 everyday. The July Walgreens coupon booklet has a $1/1 Cottonelle store coupon in it! (you can find the booklet in the sale flyer stand - it looks like a little brochure) Combine it with the $1/1 printable I just found and that makes it $3 for a 12 pack! If you're not able to print the $1/1 coupon, just use the .50/1 from the 7/9 SmartSource insert.

Also, Wags has a deal running all month on 3-packs of Ivory bar soap for 99¢. Use  $1/1 Ivory or Safeguard personal cleansing item from PG 7/1 to score FREE soap!

Woohoo, the Cottonelle Catalina is back! From 2/12-3/4, the following Catalinas (aka Register Rewards at Walgreens) are printing:

• $3 off your next purchase wyb (2) packs of Cottonelle
• $4 off your next purchase wyb (3) packs

While this deal runs into March, we have coupons expiring SUNDAY so you gotta get to the store to get the deal. Here's what you do:

Buy (2) 12 packs Cottonelle at $5 each, use:
- (2)  .50/1 SS 1/15 (values are regional, you may have gotten $1/1 or .50/2)
-(2) $1/1 Cottonelle from Walgreens February Coupon Bookley (located by sale flyers, you only have to give them one coupon and it will deduct $1 for each pack you're buying)
You pay $7, and get a $3 Catalina, making it $2 per pack!

Don't forget that the Catalinas/Register Rewards are manufacturer coupons, meaning you can use them elsewhere. These Catalinas will also be printing at Kroger or anywhere else that has a Catalina machine, the trick is finding the best prices/deals and right now the Walgreens deal is it.

P.S. I did this deal the last time it came around and got the purple packs...softest toilet paper ever! And I've still got a 12 pack left! I haven't seen any restrictions so I am under the impression that both types are included in the Catalina deal.

FREEBIE ALERT - Veet Wax Strips at Walgreens

This week, Walgreens has Veet Wax Strips are on sale for $2.99.

The Veet Facebook page has a $3 off any Veet product coupon when you "like" their page and click the 28 Days of Beauty tab. The coupon is under Day 1. This makes the wax strips FREE!

Remember: per the Walgreens Coupon Policy, "the event that any item's selling price is less than the value of the coupon, Walgreens will only accept the coupon in exchange for the selling price of the item. Coupon redemption can never exceed the selling price of an item and no cash back is ever provided in exchange for any coupons."  (That means if you have a $3 off coupon for a $2.99 item, the coupon value will be adjusted down to $2.99.)

I recommend printing the policy if you haven't already and keeping it in your binder, that way you have it on hand at the store if they give you any trouble.
