If you're going into the store with no ECBs in hand, the trick is to divide your trip into multiple transactions and to use the ECBs from the first transaction on the following transaction. I suggest doing all of the freebies that have coupons along with them, that way it will minimize your out of pocket cost for the first transaction while putting ECBs in your hand for the following transactions.
I recommend only doing 1-2 transactions at a time if there is a line behind you. Remember your coupon etiquette and go to the back of the line and wait your turn to do your remaining transactions.
