This was just released in light of the Extreme Couponing show and the coupon fraud promoted by one of the women on the show:
- Publix accepts one Manufacturer Coupon per item
- Publix accepts original Publix Coupons (no copies)
- Publix accepts valid Internet Coupons
- Publix accepts nearby Competitor Coupons (each Publix store will identify their competitors)
- Publix accepts Competitor Pharmacy Coupons for prescriptions only.
- Publix will not accept percent off coupons (percent off an item or percent off a total)
- Publix accepts coupons for identical merchandise they sell
- Publix acknowledges restrictions on the coupons (ie. one coupon per customer)
- Publix reserves the right to limit quantities
- Publix requires manager approval for coupons over $5 in value.
- Publix recognizes each item as a separate purchase on a B1G1 sale. That means you can use two coupons (you have to sales or two items.) OR a BOGO coupon on a BOGO sale constitutes two free items.
- On one item, you can use a manufacturer AND store coupon or competitor coupon (this is called stacking.
- Publix accepts only one type of dollar off total coupons (ie. one $2 off $5 Bakery purchase)
- “The order total must be equal to or greater than the total purchase requirements indicated on the coupon(s) presented.” (This statement is a little vague and thus can vary by cashier. This could mean no moneymakers or this could mean on a $5/$25 coupon you have a $25 purchase.)
